Co-op Travel

I have had several experiences with the Co-Op travel, and can say that they have always given me or found the holiday which I wanted (eventually I have to add) I found that they do have a lot of holidays on offer alongside some good competitive prices, but you have to be specific about what you want, and what your budget is, or else you could end up on the phone or in the shop for a lot longer than you bargained for browsing through all the holidays on offer. stayed at altamar apartments puerto pico arrived home today .not one to complain but felt i had to hotel ok but only top clean no kettle had to use pans for hot water lifts slow and awkward to get to your room was on ground floor had to walk 2 flights to lift sometimes it was not working and had to walk 16 flights to exit.staff were very un friendly seemed to focus on larger groups you need to use public transport to go into resort or to the beach entertainment ok mainly for children and all finished at midnight.on sight supermarket a bit expensive but well stocked but closes at 8 pm un fortunately i would not reccomend this hotel for future visitors to peurto ...  Read the complete review

We wanted a holiday to Lanzarote late last year as we felt we needed a break. We did the usual thing of wading through brochures and flicking between neverending Teletext pages to try and find a bargain which does not come across as if we were going to be sharing our accommodation with a family of sombrero-laden cockroaches. I am so impressed with Co-Op Travelcare. Firstly being greeted by genuine uncondescending smiles. We went in for a budget priced holiday for a family of four and thats exactly what we got. The base price of our holiday to Cambrils in Spain was £399 per person. When they had added on under-occupancy and flight supplements, given us our free insurance and taken off their discounts we ended up with a 2 week self catering holiday on the Costa Dorada for £800 give or take a couple of quid!! We've been using th co-op travelcare for the last 5 years and think they offer excellent service and very sound advice. One of holidays was actually our honeymoon to Tunisia so it was very important to us to get things right. I'm sure, like all shops that the branches vary from area to area but the staff in our local co-op travel are very experienced and helpful. We have never felt rushed or pushed into anything there nor have we been afraid to ask for any advice. One thing is for sure, if you don't express your definite likes and dislikes then you may not get them.
