Advantages: Better and cheaper than Eurocamp/Keycamp

Disadvantages: None

Eurosites, is a defunct British holiday tour operator, now owned and rebranded as Eurocamp/Keycamp, wholly owned by Holidaybreak.com, a large conglomerate of holiday companies such as Superbreak and Keycamp.

They were formed in the mid 1980s and sold package holidays to European countries - most popular in Holland and the UK. They owned hundreds of mobile homes and tents on many campsites and resorts throughout Europe but folded in 2003, due to financial concerns.

As a former rep for Eurosites, their professional manner and courteous attitude were never without question. As a rep, I dealt with customers diligently, providing information and welcome meetings to all guests. Most often, we were slated as glorified cleaners, with a bit of "repping" thrown in. This, I hasten to add, is true!

The quality of mobile homes and tents were of the same standard as Eurocamp and Keycamp - all clean, with modcons (fridges, ovens etc) and electricity throughout. Space for car and deckchairs occupy the outside area. All the creature comforts, or a home away from home are phrases oft heard around the campsites.

Eurosites holidays were generally cheaper than their larger competitors, with a typical 2 week holiday in the Cote D'Azur costing less than £700 for a branded blue tent.

Eurosites provided high-quality service like the larger outfits (like Eurocamp), but with the smaller close-knit family feel of smaller companies like Haven and Canvas Holidays. All in all, a much missed outfit which provided an alternative and cheaper holiday than the larger competitors, Eurocamp and Keycamp.

Summary: A much missed competitor to larger camping companies

I would really rather see a personal experience of someone who had a holiday with this company

you have got to be joking...we stayed in Benodet, had mouldy matresses and were told there were no more and when we asked to see the person in charge, was told he had a hangover so was sleeping in....we left halfway through our holiday......sounds like your site was better.
