First Choice Yucatan Explorer Tour - No FC rep at airport or on tour. Guide was NOT fluent in English. So called "upgrade" costing 254 EACH for the week was hardly any different to the standard tour cost and definitely NOT worth the money.

So called "extra legroom" seats turned out to be bulkhead seats with LESS room to stretch your legs than the standard seats and we got trampled on by passengers wanting to access the toilet. Be sure to get them to put in writing that you are not accepting Bulk head seats if you ask for extra legroom.

Reps in beach resort were only interested in selling excursions and trying to get you to pay extra to sit together on the flight home. It took them all week to do a customer service report which was incorrect.

The El Dorado Seaside Suites is NOT gourmet dining similar to the Ritz as claimed on their (Karisma) website so dont be expecting great food. It was possible to find average meals in some of the restaurants. Glad we were not staying longer. The mini bar in the room only contained soft drinks and 2 cans of local beer.

FC have failed to answer our complaint within the 28 days they set themselves. After 43 days and 3 personal visits to the Branch we had an incomplete response which was completely unsatisfactory. We expected better having paid over 1700 EACH for a 2 week holiday to Mexico - so be warned and dont book with First Choice - they dont care once they have your money.
