Advantages: Easy Booking, Nice Hotel, Rep on duty

Disadvantages: Airlines not good, flight extras a waste of money and welcome meeting waste of time and

In the first week of july 2009 we traveled to Es Cana, Ibiza with First Choice. The online booking engine was easy to use and we managed to get everything we wanted to incorporate into our holiday.

We paid extra for pre bookable seats though assuming this would mean that we could prebook seats next to a window and seats together. However neither of these options came up and when the tickets came there was still no option to choose our seats (as we had previously with other airlines) so we rung them to try and prebook and were told that to guarantee seats together or window seat we should make sure we arrive early at the airport (so it is a mystery to me what we paid the extra £20 each for).

The flight was with thomson airlines and very cramped. i wasnt impressed by the food we had paid for it seemed that they had cut corners. no cheese with the tiny bun they provide and the little carton drink was water and only a quarter full. On the way back the staff continued to served coffee through bad turbulance and i got covered in the best part of 3 scolding hot cups of coffee.

As for the holiday the hotel atlantic was good and clean, the food wasnt the best but it wouldnt stop me going back. we went to the 'new style' welcome meeting it was just the usual sell, sell, sell. There was a rep in the hotel everyday anyway, so we could see them with any queries

Would i go on holiday with first choice again? Maybe

I certainly wouldnt waste my money on prebookable seats.
and Im not sure if i would bother with the inflight meals again.

Summary: If i could go to same hotel and same resort with a different tour operator I would.
