Newest Review: ... York we got a cab from the airport to the hotel to be told we were not booked in there! The hotel had subsequently changed its name and was positioned down the block, meaning we had to struggle with our luggage with my 10 month old daughter, down to our actual hotel as it was very difficult to hail a cab. NOT IMPRESSED. Secondly, we were booked to return on a wednesday, but somehow me, my daughter and sister were on an evening flight and my mum was on a flight for the same day but in the morning! Not sure where that error arose but I was definitely not a happy bunny. Fortunately British airways were understanding enough and able to chang... more

So I booked with Flight Centre to go on holiday to New York with my mum, sister and daughter...an experience I won't be doing anytime again soon! There were 3 main faults with the service: Firstly we booked to stay in the Sheraton Hotel in Times Square. Upon our arrival in New York we got a cab from the airport to the hotel to be told we were not booked in there! The hotel had subsequently changed its name and was positioned down the block, meaning we had to struggle with our luggage with my 10 month old daughter, down to our actual hotel as it was very difficult to hail a cab. I have booked a hotel in Dublin through Flight Centre in Manchester. I have asked a hotel in the centre of Dublin, however the agent helped me was very helpful she booked me a hotel that appear to be in the centre *however in Bray not in Dublin). After noticing that on the second day I went again to complain about this (this time the agent was not so enthusiastic, maybe because it was early morning...) but she politely appologised and found me a new accommodation for the same price in the centre of Dublin, She issued the air tickets and hotel vouchers promptly and everything run smoothly.

Since January this year I've been working closely with Flight Centre for work. They contacted me to see if we would be interested in using them for our travel needs, but had they not done that I would have soon been looking for an agent as our travel needs grew. The dealings I have had with Flight Centre have been almost entirely for business purposes, although I have made enquiries for personal trips for myself and colleagues. I mainly deal with the Hammersmith branch, and we have a credit account set up with them although I have paid by credit card on occasion. Flight Centre can arrange flights, hotels, entire trips, tours, guides, insurance and ...  Read the complete review

When a Flight Centre opened in my London area, I just thought "wow, these guys will have to work hard if they want to stay in business" as there are about 2 or 3 other travel agents in the same neighbourhood. And i thought "what will make people/customers go to the Flight Centre rather than the other travel centres?" Ok, maybe i was asking myself a lot of questions but at the end, I got my answers. And here they are: 1. I had used another travel agency when i first moved to London and was appalled at the customer service there. Maybe it was my french accent the travel agents didn't like or didn't understand, maybe the short trip i ...  Read the complete review
