Advantages: Base For Blackpool

Haven Have a caravan integration policy as they feel people would 'legally' be 'dicriminated' if they didn't spread the caravans across the site. This means we booked a 3 bed GOLD caravan for a party including 2 elderly people and 1 pre-school child yet found our selves in the worst possible plac on site. Too far for my parents to walk to the bar at night,
By the time we got to the playground with my Pre schooler he was too shattered to do much, and we only had views of the local housing estate, and the run- down caravans as neighbours.

We never made it past the swimming pool changing room becaseu the stench from the changin rooms sanitary and nappy bin was unbearable.

If you do decide to brave it - don't pay a premium for your caravan becasue the chances are you're find your self in the aorst possible location.

Take the cheapest caravan going and you'll probably be in the east location. Strange but true.
I have been to 5 other Haven sites and enjoyed them, but this one takes the biscuit, please take note.

Summary: Either go in a basic caravan, or go in a B & B.
