despair at damp chalet (Haven Holidays in general)

We have just returned from a holiday in Caister-on -Sea, with tokens that we collected through the Sun. We were booked in from Friday 13th oct - 16th Oct. We arrived there after a 7 hr drive with an 8yr old and a 1 1/2 yr old. after eventually getting our key and welcome pack, we couldn't find our caravan- we found a helpful bloke and he showed us where our 'caravan' was ,disgused as a chalet. we went in and i've never seen anything so disgustuing and damp in my life. i just cried when i saw it and couldn't imagine us staying there for one minute let alone 3 nights. we went to complain adn ask if there was anything else- we were told that everythign was booked bby thsi time it was getting late the kids were hungry adn tired, so we had to make do until the morning. when preparing to get the kids to bed i had to move the beds around to amke room for the cot- big mistake, huge damp patches on the walls of both bedrooms and the smell when i moved the beds was so overpowering, i am asthmatic but there was nothing we could do as the office was shut by this time and you could only contact security who told us we'd have to wait to speak to someone in the morning. so we moved all the mattresses into the lounge and had a very wakeful night as neither child would sleep. in the morning my husband went to the office to see what could be done- he returned saying that they had offered us another chalet- we had a look adn that wasn't much better, so i then returned to the offiec to ask for a linen refund- i was told that because i had booked through the Sun there was nothing they could do. So we left- and travelled 7 hrs back home- an absolute nightmare.
