What a shame! (Haven Holidays in general)

Advantages: excellent caravan and good park facilities.

Disadvantages: unhelpful staff.

We have just returned from a long weekend break at Cala Gran in Fleetwood. We stayed in a prestige caravan which was lovely. It was better than we had imagined. However, We discovered a leek on the second day of our holiday. It was coming from the bath, and the hall carpet was soaked. Bearing in mind we had four children with us between the ages of two and four. We complained to the reception staff, who did get someone to come and look at the leek. He said he'd fixed it, but the wet patch on the carpet was getting bigger by the day. it stared to smell outside and in. The children kept slipping on it. The man who came to fix it told us he would send cleaners out to dry it all up, but they never came! i complained again to reception, but didnt get much of a response.
Also after returning home, We discoverd we had left our iron there. I phoned the park up and they said they would get back to me. They never did. I phoned again this morning and they said the same thing! I wouldnt mind if it was a cheap old iron, but its not, and thats beside the point anyway!
This is such a shame because our family go all over the country in haven caravans and we've never experienced anything like this before. I will be making further complaints to head office.

Summary: good holiday, unhelpful staff.
