Overpriced holiday, should have gone to Italy (Haven Holidays in general)

I have just come back from a week at All Hallows in Kent. Because of my husband's work we have to holiday in the school holiday and we paid around £550 for a superior plus caravan for the week. This didn't compare well to last years French holiday in June for £250 including crossing but we knew it would be more expensive in school holidays.

The main problem I had was that the matress on the bed was thin and lumpy and flared up my back problems. I spent quite a lot of the holiday heavily medicated and this put a taint on the whole week.

My 3 yr old loved the character shows in the evenings but the Paws club during the day was mashed in with the older children and my little'un wasn't keeping up with the older kids, so Daddy had to step in and help. The staff weren't enthusiastic about engaging too much with the children sitting on the stage all the time while the children were on the floor. All of these and the pool and playground could only be reached by going through the arcade. This caused many tantrums of 'I want' so much so that we restricted our visits.

All in all it was an overpriced, uncomfortable week that was tolerable fun for a todler but was only redeemed by the castles and outing we took in the area.
