Advantages: A smaller park, ample onsite entertainment
Disadvantages: Site should stop dog owners taking their dogs onsite
I have stayed at a couple of Haven resorts, most recently Seashore in Great Yarmouth.
We had a brilliant holiday. The camp was right next to the beach, and we could spend our evenings on the sand watching the sea. It was lovely!
On site, there isnt a huge amount to do, but as you are 2 minutes away from the Seafront, you dont mind.
There are 2 indoor swimming pools, 1 of which is suitable for younger children, and the other has 2 water slides. There is sufficient changing rooms, although if your van is close by you dont need them. There is a Splash Zone outside the pool, great fun for the kids!
There is a shop, which, like most on site shops can be slightly more expensie than a normal shop, and there are a couple of fast food restaurants too.
There are 2 clubs, 1 which is an over 18's, and the other is a family bar, which has regular entertainment. There is also an amusements arcade on site. Drinks are slightly more expoensive, but you would expect it onsite.
The caravan we stayed in was a standard plus. There were 7 of us, and it was very comfortable. We had 3 bedrooms, and the sofa in the living room could also be used as a sofa bed. Bathroom fascilities were great, the kitchen was fantastic and there was a really nice cooker in it, we had a large dining table, and there was a fire place and a tv.It was very clean, and all our linen was clean and fresh.
I will definately be going again, and would highly recomend it
Summary: A great, fun and relaxed holiday
