Advantages: Lots for the kids to do

Disadvantages: On a fairly steep hill

My review is based on Combe Haven holiday park near Hastings. The site has a lot of facilities including an inside and outside swimming pool, sports courts and sports hall, playgrounds, amusement arcades, large bar / dining area, entertainment hall, pitch and putt golf, laundry and shop. All the facilities you need for a good break away.

Due to the site being situated on a hill, I wouldn't recommend it for disabled people or those that have mobility problems.

When booking your holiday, go for the highest grade caravan you can afford. You will find it worth it when you get there. Cheap models e.g. bronze or silver standard are generally old caravans or ones that are not very well equiped. Top of the range are superb and well worth the money. they have all the facilities e.g. en suite toilet, built in kitchen appliances, top of the range kitchens. It is hard to expain but its like comparing a cheap run down hotel with a five star luxury hotel.

Entertainment is great. Clubs to the kids amused as well as bingo and speciality acts for adults.

Summary: Good caravan site for a holiday
