Advantages: The beach at Mablethorpe

Disadvantages: The campsite and staff

Spent 2 wks at Haven Golden Sands park, Mablethorpe. Prestige Caravan was a joke. Thank God we got a half price Holiday, otherwise there would have been serious trouble. The campsite looks a right state. years ago it looked lovely, all caravans looking similar and uniform, but now Haven plug the Owners Exclusive, the park looks like a dumping ground for tramps. No offence Tramps. After wonderful holidays there years ago, I was very disappointed this time. Entertainment was non-existent. they shipped in a 'Haven Mate' from a nearby park one night. Shows they can't be bothered anymore. They are only after your money and couldn't careless if you enjoyed it or not. Staff on the site, treat you like you are something on the bottom of their shoe. So much for a fun experience. Don't bother going here. The best bit about the holiday was off the campsite and on the beach. Mablethorpe beach is truly lovely and the Pub by the seal sanctuary , 'The Ferryboat/man' forgot which, is great value for money. Spend the nights here and yo will save a fortune instead of on the haven camp.

Summary: Go here if you are at a loose end and want to waste your money on what you thought was a luxury van
