This summer we took our 3 and 4 year old grandchildren to Haven New Quay in Wales. We needed to change the dates at the last minute which was absolutely no problem at all. When we arrived booking in was easy and we were given a map to our caravan which was really helpful. Also we were told about all the events and facilities available.
The holiday was excellent. The site was well laid out and was easy to walk around. The pools both indoor and outdoor were well managed and the staff were vigilant.
We only ate in the club house once but were pleased with the service, quality of food and cost.
The girls loved the early evening entertainment and the only show we stayed late for was a circus which was spectacular and we all enjoyed a great night.
We found that the best way down to the beach was via the nature trail which is not very suitable for pushchairs but the 20 min walk was well worth it effort. Miles of long sandy safe beach with safe shallow water.
The surrounding area provided lots to do and see.
Good points - great site, helpful and friendly staff, lots to do, great pools and park
Bad points - dogs are allowed onsite and not all owners cleaned up, caravan not cleaned properly (crisp packets under the bed), security poor as lots of locals came in.
Value for money - 9/10
