Booked a 'Sun Holidays' deal for the last week in the season. Having upgraded previously at another park chain, the wife insisted we do "standard" given the credit crunch.
Oh my god....what an truly awful experience. NEVER AGAIN.
We arrived....very obvious unusual smell when entering the "modern" and "comfortouble" caravan. The value was obvious when we stepped inside the living area and was greeted by the scent of what could be described as "eau de dogs b*llocks de german shepherd"... not being a dog owner, basically it smelt like it had been the holiday destination of a pack of homeless wolves. The bathroom was tiny, smelly and definately not comfortouble. The bedroom was something else....beds were like sleeping on paper mache, dust everywhere, very strong mould smelll....AWFUL.
Would never book a Haven holiday here again. I would rather stay at home.

I made my first visit ever to a Haven Caravan Park at the end of September this year at the Lakeland Resort so I had mixed feelings about what this holiday experience was going to be like.I did some research before I went there for Friday to Monday and found out that in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Region that two familiar names cropped up in ... i've got a touring caravan, and i've been 2 haggerston castle and seaton sands. the tourers site at haggerston is really nice, clean toilets shower block all VERY clean. wish i could say the same of seaton sands. the camp site is all grass so when wet its muddy. the toilet/shower blocks were unlocked, 2 toilets cubicals were locked so was only the 1 u could get into. very old fashioned and in need of an upgrade. the club rooms at seaton sands r far 2 small 4 the size of the site 2. a singer was on on the sat nite, think she came from the rejects from the x factor.. need i need 2 say more lol? haggerston FAR better.

The Worst Holiday Ever! Myself, my wife and my daughter went to Chruch farm near Bognor, where we greeted by BLOOD STAINED matresses, TV's that didnt work, missing mirrors in bathrooms, faulty appliances and filth!. We spent the first 6 hours of our 3 day holiday dealing with electricians, tv repair girls, matress and housekeeping staff. We complained as you can imagine, and was advied that the people were on the site and will phone us to sort everything out.....I am still waiting for the call. The company have appologised and asked us to return....LOL The customer service is a joke, and the place should be SHUT DOWN!!!!

We have recently returned from a Haven 4 night break at Devon Cliffs. I am very disapointed. We booked a premier caravan, no welcome pack, beds unmade and my daughter found a SOILED pair of Boxers undr her matress.. YES SOILED, with urine and faeces! My daughter was physically sick and the smell was revolting. All reception said was, write to head office.. great, thanks for that.. The toilets on the complex were also disgusting, often blocked and smelled like dirty swimming pool facillities! I will not be returning to Devon Cliffs in a hurry :(

This summer we took our 3 and 4 year old grandchildren to Haven New Quay in Wales. We needed to change the dates at the last minute which was absolutely no problem at all. When we arrived booking in was easy and we were given a map to our caravan which was really helpful. Also we were told about all the events and facilities available. The ... Read the complete review

In the last three years we have been on four haven holidays and have enjoyed every one. Each time we try to go to a different resort but basically they are all the same. A free swimming pool, soft play area, outside parks and a couple of places to eat, usually pub, pizza and fish and chip shop. The caravans are really nice and spacious and very ... In April 2009 I visited Weymouth Bay with my parents and grandmother. We have just come back from a week camping at Golden Sands Malethorpe,at a cost of £192.00 for 5 adults and £42 for 2 Jack Russells. Our family have enjoyed a number of Haven holidays on the Vendee in France at Le Bois Masson in St Jean des Monts. I cannot speak highly enough of our experiences there. When I was younger I can remember going to Haven quite a lot and we tried a few different sites over the years. Over the last three years, my family and I have visited three Haven Holiday parks (Riviere Sands, Hafan y Mor and Blue Dolphin). Every holiday I felt the need to request that the cleaner ... Read the complete review

Just spent a three night break in Seton Sands park. Four adults and two bairns. Rained, of course, but we had a ball. The kids were totally catered for and didn't want to leave at the end. As adults we enjoyed the trips around the area. Some wonderfully sandy beaches within ten miles. Good restaurants in nearby towns that welcome young children. Caravan was clean and tidy, plenty of kitchen essentials. We only brought towels and clothes with us and we lacked naught else. Only problem I had (the others in our company didn't) was that the music was way tooooo loud at shows.
