Resort: Lakeland Flookbourough South Lakes. Now i've been here may times in the last couple of years and this is one of Haven's more quieter relaxing sites i don't like the all action ones's to busy. It's a great site located in a nice rural area, you will need a car to get around be warned.A bit about the ... Read the complete review

My review is based on experience in visiting a number of Havens sites within the UK and abroad. Having a young family I was looking for a holiday with lots of activities and fun for the children. The holidays in the UK had plenty to do. Those abroad had kids clubs which were adequate. Nothing like in the UK but to be fair most go abroad ... Read the complete review

Not too bad for a nice cheap holiday. Don't think I could survive for more than three or four days as really not my type of thing but the kids love it. Because these camps are enclosed the kids can have a fair bit of freedom and they love it. There is a swimming pool, Amusement arcade etc for them to keep themselves amused. There is also ... DO NOT RECOMMEND HAVEN at all. We stayed at Blackpool Haven site called Calla Gran, it was quickly re-named Calla GRIM when we saw the land fill site in front of us. The caravan was old, grim and dirty, appliances did not work, bedlinen was worn and crockery/ cutlery missing. The facilities at the park were overcrowded, dirty, poorly staffed ... presthaven sands ,,well what can i say the touring part of the park was a mile walk from the main complex, the toilet block resembled the film saw.the first sign of rain and it flooded,no lights for night not to mention the all night train track 50 mtrs from are van witch shuck whenever one went by..an woke my 7 yr old up with a fright.....at 20pound a night with are own caravan you would think they would make more of a effort..we will not be staying again .......o and forgot to mention the noise at night of drunk teenagers probably up that end hiding from their parents and no wardens to be seen to monitor this...only give it one star because it wont let me carry on without

We have not long returned from a week at Haven's All Hallows site. We booked tha holiday purely because it was cheap and we have family inthe area so it made a good base and we didnt plane to spend much time there. I have stayed at a couple of Haven resorts, most recently Seashore in Great Yarmouth. We had a brilliant holiday. The camp was right next to the beach, and we could spend our evenings on the sand watching the sea. It was lovely! On site, there isnt a huge amount to do, but as you are 2 minutes away from the Seafront, you dont mind. ... Read the complete review

Before... It took some persuading by my husband, that going anywhere with an 18 month old, and a six month old was a good idea. However, I was convinced by his argument that a change is as good as a rest, and also by the Haven website, that we would be able to manage quite well, and our needs would be catered for. We booked a week ... Read the complete review

Haven at Hafan Y Mor. Entrance looks fab, new, neat and tidy. Then you get inside proper... hmmm. Clubs are dire, old dirty carpets, broken chairs, filthy toilets, expensive drinks. Entertainment staff push selling of nick nacks at kids big time. Pool looks great outside; new cladding. Inside showing its age, lots of mold, green algae on slides, bits of pool fenced off where broken.
Most staff don't speak English/Welsh, not surprised Haven reduce wages each year; UK people don't want to work for them.
Food overpriced and rubbish. Sunday lunch dry, overcooked and tasteless, V.expensive.
Caravan clean, well equipped etc. We had top of range caravan so should be. Pity poor sods who booked lower spec accommodation. Chalets and apartments looked run down, wouldn't like to be half board.
Beach warning! Dirty, small, dangerous (rubble etc), also pipe from sewage treatment works exits. Go to Pwllhelli, nicer beach.

my husband and 3 sons went at the end of august 08 for a 2 night break to haven reighton sands to stay in a caravan, it was not cheap? it cost us £154 including our dog (they charge £20 extra for)...well the caravan was dirty, sticky finger prints over the walls, pee on the toilet seat, opened food in the cupboards, stains on the matresses... didnt look like it had been cleaned from previous people! as for the arcade, no staff anywhere when you needed them and at times i was running all over the place to find a member of staff! all in all a total waste of money!! would definately not go back there again and my advice to otheres thinking of going...dont!!!

We recently went on a family holiday to a Havens park near Clacton and found it really quite disappointing. When you pay a premium for a caravan park, you expect it to be better than the el cheapo ones you stay at for a fraction of the price but this was just a bog standard el cheapo park with an inflated price tag. I have just come back from a week at All Hallows in Kent. Because of my husband's work we have to holiday in the school holiday and we paid around £550 for a superior plus caravan for the week. This didn't compare well to last years French holiday in June for £250 including crossing but we knew it would be more expensive in school ... Read the complete review

Just returned from 1 week camping at blue dolphin site , filey. with 12yr and 14yr old boys. It is a nightmare camping site.
