I thought i deserved a break from the never ending turmoil of working life. I go to work, i come home, i go to bed, i get up, i go to work, i come home..... you get the idea. Probably do it yourself yeah? me too...

Anyway, i deserve a holiday (i think) so on thursday night, i hotfooted it up to the holiday hypermarket in Edinburgh, 30 minutes before it closed to have a quick look, with the thought to maybe come and book something at the weekend.

Inside the place is superb. Looks like a mini disneyland with all the bits anf bobs, french cafe style waiting room, bates motel with the musci to go. Nice.

I have never met such friendly people. The staff went far far out of their way to help me and myt flatmate choose a holiday.

We had a few problems. First they found us a perfect holiday and then when we came to pay, my flatmates card was declined and i had not brought mine. They cant keep holidays open for people at the last minute, but they did. As long as we were there the next morning at 9am we could have it. They stayed open for an extra 20 minutes to try to help us. And they didnt seem to mind at all. So helpful and kind.

And we were. But the girl who had served us, Kerry-Ann, had phoned in sick. But she had also phoned to say expect me in and dont cancel my holiday until i had come in cos i was going to pay. And they did, and i paid.

They were so nice, so helpful, and now i leave on tuesday.

Definitely reccomend the helpful holiday hypermarket.
