JMCNewest Review: ... all wearning our 'English Clothes' it arrived. Having booked with JMC at the Iberostar Magaluf Beach (now rebranded Majorca Beach for this season) we expected as promised to be the first drop of in resort and so as the 3rd Drop Off point, we were at the hotel in less than 30 mins. The property is as it nam suggests on the beach, with its own area of free sunloungers. Magaluf if you ... more |

Travelled with JMC October 2002 from Manchester to Palma de Mallorca. It was our first flight with JMC and whilst the meal, a hot breakfast with tea coffee or sqaush for the little ones was nice, the request for £6 for a pair of headphones was a bit of a shock. We landed 30 mins early due to wind direction and when we had regained our cases , husband, myself and our four daughters aged 5-10, we struggled to find our coach to Magaluf, 30 minutes away. The reason we struggled is because it wan't there! Even the rep in the airport was mistified but eventually after 20 mins in the sunshine, all wearning our 'English Clothes' it arrived. ... When I first saw all the ads for JMC when they first launched (how many years ago?), I thought their whole concept looked great – “unwrapping the package holiday piece by piece” and all that. Well, it’s about time SOMEBODY made some changes, isn’t it? How wrong I was!!! My first experience came when I booked my honeymoon with them. My holiday cost £300 more with JMC than it would have done with another company. Oh well, I thought, they offer a best price guarantee – find an identical holiday elsewhere, and they’ll refund the difference. Wrong. The cheaper holiday was already booked up, therefore it’s not ... Read the complete review

I went to Benidorm with JMC so having a mediocre holiday was probably my own fault. I enjoyed it and some aspects such as the apartments were worth the money but it was still mediocre. They did indeed unwrap the package holiday but I don’t too much like being unwrapped. I knew before I went I wouldn’t really like being herded like a sheep around various events on several nights of ‘my’ holiday. But my friends had already booked and my girlfriend and me wanted to be with them so we booked. It was cheap, it only cost about £300 and we were to stay in apartments. To be honest the picture in the brochure didn’t do the apartments ... Read the complete review

After reading all the other ops in this category I realised that I am not alone in my appalling experience of JMC. I found them to be elusive, vague and rather unhelpful at all times during my holiday and would steer well clear of this tour operator next time I am looking to book a holiday. That said I'll tell you a bit about my experience. As my title suggests I didn't book my holiday through 'JMC' in the strictest sense but rather Club 18-30's who are still a part of JMC. I am Australian and after three months in England, putting up with the grey skies and cold weather my feet were itching for a bit of sun, sand and adventure. So I sold ... Read the complete review
