Kuoni TravelNewest Review: ... growing, wonderful plants at the botanics, visiting a tea plantation but best of all the elephants. First we saw them at close quarters, another morning we had a 2 hour elephant ride round a lake. Ieven got to ride on the neck like a mahout ( long trousers advisable as the hair is quite wiry) and feed her with bananas!. That was an optional extra but only £23. Another day we visited wild elephants in a reserve. We saw lots some at very close quarters. The hotels were very good I didn't even need my own beach towels. The food was super, do try hoppers and fantastic fruit as well as the obvious curry although there was also lots of other ch... more |

Had a super trip to Sri Lanka with Kuoni in July 09. Booked the Ceylon tour. It was a great mix, Amazing historical places, Buddhist temples, seeing some of my favourite spices growing, wonderful plants at the botanics, visiting a tea plantation but best of all the elephants. I travelled to Thailand last year with Kuoni and I have to say they were excellent. On the website they seem to do holidays to many many different locations around the world. The holiday I booked was one of their special offers and found it be very reasonable. What impressed me most about Kuoni was there reps, there was always someone about to help with any questions we had, the transport from the airport was great, there was no waiting for a coach to load 50 -60 people they picked us up in small taxis which was great. They were very helpful in recommending places to visit that may be of interest and other tips about the area. I would definitely book with Kuoni again ... Read the complete review

Their services work as follows: Brochures: You can pick up their brochures in most high street travel agents or you can order one from the website, their brochures tend to be highly detailed and each area of the world will have its own, if you have a rough idea of where you want to go these are an ideal starting point. They offer both ... Read the complete review

Planning a holiday? Avoid SOTC alias Kuoni Travels! The tag line of SOTC is 'Expect more'. However, given our horrific experience during a recent vacation that we booked thru them probably 'Expect more- Stress!' rings truer. Given that SOTC is a big brand name the minimum one would expect is good service, decent holiday deals and proper planning. However they fail miserably even on these basic hygiene factors. To begin with the actual plan and package rate that they deliver is nowhere close to the original plan and quote- on the basis of which you pay them the advance booking money. In our case the final rate was nearly double and the plan was completely ... Read the complete review

Kuoni Wedding - San Francisco 22/9/06 This is similar to the other review relating to Kuoni Travel: The Big Day, in which my husband and I decided to get married abroad and chose San Francisco as our destination. We chose Kuoni primarily because it had a variety of wedding locations to choose from. Would have preferred Virgin, but they only had one location outside San Fran. Kouni Booked by phone, overall found there were no signicant problems with the booking or the paperwork we received. I did return my completed evaluation form with a wedding photo, to claim my free bottle of bubbly, which I am still waiting ... Read the complete review
