Advantages: Good Hotel Location but the wrong hotel

Disadvantages: Totally unsuitable for anyone with disabilities or those expecting the Xmas spirit

Having booked trips with Ledger for several years in Germany and Holland, all great trips, I booked late this year and went for this trip in France. Okay, so it wasn't Silver Service this time due to late booking but, after speaking to other non Silver Service passengers, I think we got the raw deal.

Hotel was totally coach unfriendly, had to walk up a hill each morning to get on the coach as it couldn't park outside.

Expected a continental breakfast but if you were not down within 5 minutes of the opening time you got what was left, coffee and a bread roll. Only exactly the required number of seats for the whole party which meant if a party of three sat at a table couples had to scout round for an available seat.

Paris is hell at this time of year - to be expected, but I feel due too bad research on the part of Ledger, this was not taken into consideration.

Coach was unable to pull up at tour drops due to traffic and had to drop people where they could (which didn't do much for the older traveller with walking difficulties). Heavy traffic meant tours were delayed
and on an evening trip to the Eiffel Tower delayed so much that the Tower was closed on arrival.

Only one of 3 Xmas markets was open as the others do not open until 8th December (including the Xmas light switch on). This should have been advertised as a trip to Paris and not a Xmas Market break.

Summary: Buildings were fantastic but I could have gone on Eurostar at any time of the year to see them.
