Late booking - great deal (Lunn Poly)

My holiday this year was a late deal that I booked by telephone after seeing a deal on the Lunn Poly website. I wanted a week in Crete and I got it for £250 return. I got my tickets from the desk at the Airport and I found out my holiday resort in Crete. Prior to my landing in Crete I knew I was in a 2 star B&B. I must admit that the uncertainity of not knowing the location in Crete was a downfall but to my delight we were placed in The Golden Bay hotel in Kalo Chorio. This hotel is not in UK brochures and is reserved for late deals or folks who ask. The hotel had a pool. Rooms had a satelite TV and a fridge, not bad for 2 star. For those who like more along the road was the Hotel Elpida which seemed to have a good reputation. By the way Kala Horio has 3 Golden Beaches that stretch some distance. These are some of a few Golden sandy beaches in Crete, most are full of Pebbles. If you enjoy quite resorts away from the clubbing scene this is ideal.
