In my honest opinion, judging by every travel agent ive ever booked a holiday from - Lunn Poly is the best by miles! At Lunn Poly, you can either exchange cash into various currencies, look at holiday brochures or book your holiday! When i went to book my holiday with my boyfriend a little while ago, we were asked to sit at a table and one of the staff would be with us as soon as possible. Well, we were only waiting a matter of a couple of seconds when this very friendly lady came up to us and introduced herself. Next she asked if we would like tea or coffee! I havent been to any travel agents before that ask if you'd like a hot drink. So my boyfriend and i started to feel very comfortable in there! I looked around the room - there weren't any conflicks going on - everyone whether it be the customers or the staff looked very happy. I didnt spot one misberable face!
The lady talked us through certain options about holidays - she asked us loads of questions so she could find the right holiday for us. Then we needed to find out about car parking so she explained how to get cheaper car parking at airports, which was very helpful! After that, we went to change our pound sterling into euros (we are going to spain), the lady working behind the till always wore a big smile and she helped us very much with our queries and changing our money over!
In my opinion, the staff at Lunn Poly are alot more friendlier and helpful than any other travel agent i have been to (Thomas Cook, Co-Op, Holiday Hypermarket to name a few), as they dont rush you quickly, they clearly explain in detail everything you need to know and they always answer your questions very politely. If you need help with anything, e.g. questions about brochures or anything or if you are standing looking for a certain brochure they will always come over and ask you if you need any help!
So if it's very friendly, polite, comfortable, welcoming services you're after to make the booking
more worthwhile - then Lunn Poly is the no.1 place to go! also they charge less commission rates to other travel agents ive been to!
