Advantages: ?

Disadvantages: boring layouts

lunn polly need to get their act together. The service they provide is quite good. Their main problem is their shop layout, their staff look like airline crew and their offices look like airport check in desks. I assume i am not the only person put off by bland red and white offices. they need to seriously rethink their strategies on customer attraction, colours, plants coffee machine etc.
I dont like to say it but they are losing a lot of business through not doing any market research and keeping up to date with todays holiday market.

Having worked in Lunn Poly for the past three years, I feel I have to write a response to this opinion. Currently the uniform is under review and will be changed shortly as you can imagine Lunn Poly is a very big company with over 800 shops in the UK so obviously it is going to take time before all shops have the new uniform. As for the layout of the shops they too are being updated and all computer systems are being replaced with more up to date systems. As for looking like Airport Check in desks why do all customers feel like they have to say when they walk in the door 'oh look its set up like an aeroplane' and then laugh and think that they are the first people to say it. Last year all customers were given a questionnaire once they had booked their holiday and it asked about there thoughts on the uniform, layout of shop, and for there general overall opinion on Lunn Poly, the company has taken this all into consideration and a lot of changes have been made already but something like this is going to take alot of time to put into action in all the shops. Most shops do have coffee machines which I for one think is a bad thing as parents dont seem able to control there kids anymore and dont seem to mind when they knock the drinks all over the floor and the desks. All I can think is that maybe you went in on a bad day and I dont feel you should be so quick off the mark to have a go at them without really finding out the facts first.
