My wife and I have just returned from a Newmarket Travel "German Christmas markets" coach trip. Never ever again will we book with Newmarket. The trip was badly organised and the hotel, and that is a very loose description, was bad beyond belief. The bedrooms were very basic, but the " hotel" part was locked closed until 8:30am for breakfast, locked closed again all day and just opened again for the evening meal ( no choice and no tea or coffee). During the day there was nowhere at the hotel or within 4kilometers to buy a hot drink. The central heating was turned completely off during the day . During the three days we were there one morning had hot water for the shower, one morning only cold, and one morning just lukewarm water. Towels were never changed and no soap or shampoo were provided. We got the impression that Newmarket had " made the trip on the cheap" . I think its fair to say the entire coach load of people were very disappointed with Newmarket and the "never again with them" comment was pretty much universal.

Summary: The worst hotel I have ever seen
