I recently went away for Christmas with Newmarket. I flew from East Midlands to Venice for a stay in Lake Garda. I left on 22 December and was very excited about the idea of being away over Christmas and staying in a hotel, to take all of the hassle out of things.

I am very happy to say I was not disappointed. The hotel we chose, the Sole, a four star in Riva del Garda was excellent - very comfy and cosy, and the staff very attentive. Also our rep, Lyn, helped whenever we needed it and was always around. The main focus was Christmas day, and I was very happy to find a traditional roast dinner was on offer at the hotel, and even a visit from Santa!! They also provided musical entertainment in the evening.

Whilst on holiday we decided to take a couple of Newmarket's excursions, we went to Venice and the Dolomites. Although a little on the pricey side, we felt they were both worth the money. We had very good guides who explained everything that we saw in an informative and often entertaining way.

I would definitely travel with Newmarket again.
