rosebudrocks Hoseasons: ... - brocheres I will say firstly that Hoseasons have a wide variety of brocheres from country cottages, boating, holiday parks, through to european holidays. My experience is the UK brochures the cottages. COTTAGES. At the start of the brochere, they tempt you with snippets of pictures of various accomodations and places. Whilst you work through the brochere, it is sectioned into counties, so you either kn...

... the last two years, we have enjoyed rather nice holidays in the UK. Having been huge fans of foreign holidays for the previous 18 or so years, this has proved a pleasant departure for us. There are no longer any airport delays, endless queues, cramped planes and indifferent staff on our agenda. There s something rather relaxing about loading up the car with all sorts of bits and bobs you wouldn t normally get away with in your 25kg maximum baggage allowance, and it s so pleasant not to have to queue to check in, queue to board, queue to get off and then fight to reclaim your luggage. Granted the weather isn t quite so good or guaranteed, but that s good old Blighty...

... are a holiday operator offering holidays in Britain and Europe. They cater for all ages as well as holidays of all styles. Whether it is hidden away in a lodge, ebtertainment non stop or down a canal on a barge there will be something for everyone. Like most holiday companies Hoseasons bring out a brochure around October/November time. But unlike other companies this is the only one that will come out all year. So the prices will always remain the same, whether you book the week after the brochure comes out or the month before you go on holiday. There are a couple of exceptions; If you book early either just as or before the brochure comes out you normally ge...

... summer my partner and I undertook a week cruise along the French rivers/canals as part of a group of 8 which was organized by some friends of ours through the company Crown Blue Line. I’m not sure why it has taken me so long to write about the cruise which was great until the company spoilt things on the last day of our trip. Crown Blue Line organizes canal cruises in France, Belgium, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Italy and Holland, although the highest concentration of routes is in France. The cruises can be undertaken for 3, 4 or 5 nights in addition to 1 or 2 week options and the boats will sleep between 6-12 people. We personally chose a one week cruis...
