Ahh so you've turned up to join in the crinkley fun then have you !!!!..., well as a former British holiday Rep working in Europe (Austria and Italy) some 20 years ago the title is what we used to call SAGA holidays 'Sex and Games for the Aged' or 'Send A Grannie Away'....however now that I am 'er Ahem ..approaching that age group, I decided to check out some of their holiday offers and benefits, OK I know that they have a lot of stuff on offer for the over 50's and now they even do motoring insurance, but this Op is concerned with the holiday division of Saga operations....

Most of you will know I have just returned from an independent holiday in Florida booked entirely on the Internet, now believe me I researched the routing very thoroughly, tried all the major ticketing websites, and the On line Airline websites who serve Florida either directly from Manchester or via one other Airport, I even considered the Amsterdam Hub using KLM from Leeds/Bradford and believe me after several days slog and comparing like for like I got the best deal on the web with British Airways ( which, this time, was my preferred Operator)...

Now as I said earlier, I don't qualify for membership of SAGA just yet, but having just got some of their promotion leaflets which were pushed through the door the other day, I thought thats one mob I haven't checked out yet, I noticed they have their own website so I had to have a look..imagine my delight when I saw that SAGA have a special relationship with British Airways and they sell individual tickets rather than part of an inclusive package, so yes !!!, curiousity got the better of me..on their on line page I input my travel details for the dates I already have tickets for and guess what ....yup !! if I had been able to book with SAGA this trip would have cost us almost £250 less just on British Airways (thats for both of us)..

Now SAGA will arrange all your travel needs and still allow you to be an individual traveller, the days of the package holiday are slowly being buried, and the independent traveller is getting a better deal, and better treatment, now with savings such as I have already described I can honestly say that I am looking forward to being able to use the services of SAGA and save even more cash.....it certainly pays to shop around and I would recommend that you continue to do this, but with SAGA on line they are and their services are worth considering ...you could save even more of your valuable cash !!

Of course as people are retiring at a much younger age nowadays, they are also wanting to travel further, gone are the days of a fortnight in Eastbourne or Torquay, its Hawaii, Florida, India and Australia for Saga lovers, and lets face it.. theres nothing worse than a frisky 50 year old...so maybe Sex and Games For the Aged isn't such an exaggeration after all!!??@*& ......

Perhaps for you young 'uns on a club 18-30 holiday (SAGA) Send A Granny Away also has it merits...lets call it club 18-75 ....

For those of you who qualify to use SAGA, they may just save you a small fortune if you use them wisley !!!
