Simply Travel

Used SimplyTravel twice cust_serv is very below standard. Received a letter stating they lost most of my complaint letter didn’t acknowledge half my mainpoints in their letter. Wrong Villa was advertised in brochure, owners said they have had 12compalints but SimplyTravel do nothing.
Rep didn’t care we weregiven avilla that wasn’t within their brochure and refused to come out to see us. return letter from them was pointless

We booked our holiday to Croatia three months ago. Since then Simply Travel have changed our flight times twice and have now (a week and a half before we fly) informed us that our flight will not be going to Split but will insted be going 100 miles outside and we will be transpoted by coach for two hours to Split. Simply Travel are offering no compensation or any options to refund or exchange our tickets despite there being nothing in the terms and conditions to say that they are able to change our holiday in this way. I have used Simply Travel for 3 previous holidays -2 to Crete, and 1 to Ithaca -and I'm booked to Majorca for this year. They do seem a bit more expensive, but the accomodation is always good. By taking the reps out of the commission deal, they are free to give impartial advice -when asking to book a car in Crete, I was told to go to a hire agency down the road, as they were cheaper! I'm slightly perturbed to see that Simply Travel are now part of the Thompson Travel group -only time will tell if this is a bad thing or not. Having booked two holidays (one in Crete and one in Portugal) we have been very impressed with Simply Travel. They are not the cheapest, but they have offered a very good standard of accommodation. In both cases they have been self-catering and they have both been to a high standard. The one in Crete was an apartment in a prime position overlooking a small village and bay, the other in the Algarve in Portugal where we had an excellent small apartment just outside Tavira.
