Smply better than the rest (Simply Travel)

Advantages: Excellent accomadation and reps

Disadvantages: Slightly more expensive

I have used Simply Travel for 3 previous holidays -2 to Crete, and 1 to Ithaca -and I'm booked to Majorca for this year. They do seem a bit more expensive, but the accomodation is always good. By taking the reps out of the commission deal, they are free to give impartial advice -when asking to book a car in Crete, I was told to go to a hire agency down the road, as they were cheaper!
I'm slightly perturbed to see that Simply Travel are now part of the Thompson Travel group -only time will tell if this is a bad thing or not.
The only other drawback is that they only fly from Gatwick and Stanstead in the South of England, but if you ask, they will let you arrange your own flights, and adjust the holiday price accordingly.
