I have just graduated and am halfway through a post-degree gap year (i.e. after uni not before it). My girlfriend and I are travelling round the world and looked at several places before getting our ticket from STA. What I like most about them was their can do attitude. I was fed up of being told that where we wanted to go was not possible, or was very expensive. I'm not inflexible, but if I'm having a year to travel I want to see the places I want to see, not where a travel agent thinks is nice, or where there commission gets them most. Basically we gave STA a list of countries and they found the best round the world package for us. It is one of those tckets where you keep travelling in one direction. We're doing 31,000 miles, 9 countries and paying about £1499, plus £6 fot the under 26 card.

On top of the cheap fares STA are also very helpful. When considering a trip we popped into the STA in Leeds and talked it through with someone, they gave us brochures, ideas, sample fares and were wiling to invest time with us even though there was no guarantee we would go with them, especially at that stage. At no time have STA employees ever pressured us, just helped and guided.

We have not set off yet, but STA have agents all round the world, so you have somewhere to go if there are problems abroad. We can change the dates we fly at no extra cost and I am looking forward to a good trip and feel confident STA will look after us well, and am very happy with them so far.
