Tapestry Holidays

We travelled with Tapestry Holidays inb both 2003 & 2004, on both occasions from Manchester to Volos. To explain the review title away a little, this refers to the way Tapestry seem to get so many things right, yet fail in one major respect, their charter flight operator. We visited a self catering accomodation at Lefocastro in 2003, an idyllic greek fishing village, we must have numbered 2 of the total headcount of tourists there of about 15, it was a great place, tranquil, unpretentious and with reasonable access to the town of Affisos for a choice of restaurants. I'm part of a group of tourists who traveled from Manchester to Volos in September. We all had mixed views about the accomodation as we'd all stayed in various locations throughout Pelion, Greece. We exchanged e-mails addresses aboard our returning flight following a horrendous return journey. We are starting a campaign to make people aware of how complaints are treated by Tapestry and the sub standard airlines and transfers they use. In short the accomodation we stayed in was OK. Tapestry Holidays is the name to remember. Tapestry holidays are a company specialising uncommerical holidays in Greece and Turkey. Having traveled with Tapestry for the first time this summer I can't say enough about them. I returned to the same resort that I visited the year before so the only difference in my last holiday was the company. Firstly the Brochure, I thought I had to pay for it it was quality. the resorts to pick from all had at least two hotels exclusive to tapestry to choose from and you could even pick and book your own room from the room plan.
