Although I am off to Las Vegas in December, I feel as though I am missing out on that Summer holiday that I always love to go on, so we decided to have a scout around for a late deal for this summer.

I have never tried to find a holiday online, I have always used a travel agents basically for the ease, you get a couple of brochures, choose where you want to go, go into the travel agents and jobs a good, it all booked and you have piece of mind that you are in capable hands.

On this occasion we have been scouting around the internet, which has proved to be quite tedious and to be honest has wound me up a little bit. Thats why you get cheaper deals online because it takes so long to find them and is a little bit of a hassle.

Trawling thorugh various websites, I have found a lot of them deceiving, you see a good price which looks like the total cost of the holiday and then you realise that that is just the flight alone, which ends up leaving you disappointed. Also the amount of add on's is terrible you can find a really cheap holiday and then the transfer costs are extortionate, its unbelievable.

However, Teeltext Holidays has seemed to have out an end to all this tediousness, and has made everything a lot more easier than it has been trawling though these ridiculous amounts of deceiving sites.

The teletext holiday website is great. Its easy to navigate around. As you go on the site, it shows various pictures, which are probably the most important criteria that people are looking for: Late Deals, All Inclusive, Beach Holidays, Hot Deals and Summer Getaways, so if you are looking for something within these categories its directly in front of your eyes and easy to go straight to. The are other tabs at the top of the page if you are looking for something more specific: Flight Only, Holidays, Villas, Uk Break and Hotels. On the left hand side of the page you have the search option, which is really easy to use. You just enter the departure date of what you are looking at and choose whether you want that as the exact date or whether you are flexible, choose your departure airport, which can be chosen by region is your are not particularly bothered which airport you fly from but would like to travel froma specific region, choose you destination and the resort you would like to stay in, the number of people in the party, the board basis that you prefer and the star rating of the accommodation, click on search and within a couple of seconds your results will appear with various suggestions for your holiday.

Your results are displayed in lists of 20 and you can select at the top whether you want teletext recommended, price or departure date to be the main criteria on the order in which the results are displayed.

In the listing it shows a small picture of the accommodation and the main point of sale is the price that it is going at and the palce and resort location. It gives details of the departure airport, a brief description of the resort and a button to click on for more information.

When you click on more information, it gives you a more in depth summary of the itinerary, details of what you get for your money, more pictures of the accommodation and the area in which you are staying and details of the provider for you to contact if you are looking to book the holiday.

I have found this site extremely useful and quick to find some good deals. There are no hidden features on the site, its relatively to the point. A great site that is easy to use and gives you piece of mind.
