Advantages: Much Cheaper

Disadvantages: Hotels not always named, Have to pay straight away, Takes a long time to see all you want!

We have always booked our holidays through a travel agent. We love to sit and look at many brochures, comparing pictures and prices and we have tended to book months and months once even a year before going! But this year our neighbour came round to use our ceefax, she is divorsed so she was after a single room in Gran Canaria. Well after spending hours scanning all the pages, (don't they turn slowly!) she found a great bargain an all inclusive holiday for a week at only £299. So she phoned from our home, really excited! Alas that was for an apartment, with at least two sharing. Anyway to cut a long story short we decided to join her and had a great time.
I would suggest to help getting the place you want, it is wise to know what area you want to stay in. We were well pleased with our holiday, we had value for money. We saved over £300 off brochure price and we would definately book through them again.I also suggest that you take out an annual holiday insurance, shop round you save loads of money in doing it this way.

Summary:
