Advantages: If you are a large family it could be financially viable

Disadvantages: Goal posts change all the time, very unhelpful, pressurised selling!

GVC or Sunterra both the same unfortunately!

Be warned, when you are sold the product through a front person for Sunterra i.e. LCI Travel, ensure that you get it all down in writing and very clear as the goal posts continually move.

I bought in to the Voyager package in January this year which gives us 5 weeks holidays with Sunterra and 3 weeks holiday with Interval International over the next three years. Total cost £3k plus £100 per booked week.
What attracted us was the fact that on top of the full weeks we were told that for £25 per night plus £5 admin. cost we could book spare single nights in the Sunterra resorts. Just try and do it, impossible! They deny you can do it and the staff become obnoxious and you feel you are having to beg for something that was promised to you. Go backk to LCI Travel who sold the package and they just dont speak to you or return calls. To book 2 single nights at Thurnham Hall they wanted £157.00 - you must be joking, I can get much better cheaper than that!

Also if you havent been on your introduction holiday or 'prize' to Tenerife yet, be warned, hard sell is an understatement. We hadnt even used any of our vouchers yet and they were trying to get us in to the full package for £9k plus what we had already paid. The salesman was as sweet as anthing until we declined, he then thought he would give us a terror ride in his car back to the resort , saying this is what he does with people who dont sign up - laugh, laugh - really professional.

I have found the staff most unhelpful in trying to book flights to match the accommodation I have booked, they just dont care if you can actually make it to the resort! and as for booking somewhere in England at anytime, forget it, they are booked up months ahead so if you cant plan ahead you have no chance whatsoever of getting in.

So to summarise - do we regret buying it? Most probably, certainly wont sign up for anything more, no matter how much pressure is put on us. We will see the already purchased weeks out wherever we can get in and thats that!

Summary: Youll be lucky to get what you have been promised I assure you!

I agree with all you say Me Lady. I have had the same problems with Club Greece in conjunction with RCI. I say don't trust any of them. They over subscribe to all sites and in RCI'S case instead of the 5* promised we got at best 3* and on other occassions only 2* even if they wanted to call it 4*. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DON'T WANT TO KNOW YOU!!!!!!!!!
