Advantages: Wide variety to suit all budgets.

Disadvantages: Difficult to search, not the best prices.

I am not much of a go into the travel agents sort of person so in this review I will only be talking about my experiences with the Thomas Cook website.

I've used the Thomas Cook website a couple of timmes a year for about four years now and am currently in the process of booking a holiday at the moment so this review is very relevent! I have to say I find Thomas Cooks website the hardest to use out of the five or so I have been searching on lately.

Thomas Cook. com sells a wide variety of products, holidays as packages and in their seperate shapes and forms. Through my many years of searching I have learnt that in 90% of cases it is always cheaper to book a holiday as a apckage than in the seperate forms. The only advantage to booking things seperately is that then you get exactly the details you want rather than someone else picking them for you, however it is much more hassle.

Thomas cook has its own airline so it is always worth looking out for the flights it does. They are relatively cheap and cheerful, ideal for shorthaul if you do not want anything fancy, but definitely not ideal for long haul. I knew someone that took one to Australia last year and they would definitely not be doing that again.

The package holidays cater for all budgets and all locations, whether it is your honeymoon you are booking or a last minute budget holiday to Spain Thomas Cook has it all, and I definitely wouldn't fault them for variety. For example I am looking for a holiday to Egypt and I was deciding between last minute in the next week or in a few months time. Thomas Cook had quite a few to offer, but Last minute .com just about beat them. They had more holidays, the prices were cheaper and the searching was easier. In summary Thomas Cook are good, I just think there are better out there.

Summary: Worth looking at but also searching around.
