Advantages: nice girl

Disadvantages: knew nothing about resort

I booked our holiday through another travel agent but our holiday was actually with Thomson in a Thomson hotel. When we arrived at the airport our rep met us, put us on a minibus and that was it, not acompanying us to our hotel, no background on the island, nothing. Whilst at our hotel (which was very dissapointing for Thomsons, very dirty and smelly) our rep couldn't answer any questons that we had about the resort, her response was constantly well she didn't know because that didn't interest her. We had no warnings about drinking that water or any other health & safety issues and after 2 days we were given a card a told that she wouldn't be coming back to our hotel and that was the help line number. Sorry Thomsons but you really need to get your reps to find out more about their resorts, we knew more from what we had read on the internet.
