Advantages: Good service

Disadvantages: Need to pay more for headphones if you wish to listen to the in flight movie

I have just recently been on a holiday to Tenerife with Thomson, and although the rep was great at the hotel and I had a great time, I must say that I was not really happy about the choice of recommended hotel which we had stayed in. The hotel was dirty, rooms were small and service was not that great, but anyways, I had a great time in the sun. The rep was awesome and gave us all the advise we needed, and was there whenever we needed her. The flight to Tenerife and back to the UK was good, but I couldn't believe the fact that tif you wish to watch tv / movie (whatever is showing) and wish to listen to what is going on, they charge you about £2.50 to buy headphones. I have never been on a flight before where you pay for service and conort, but then expected to pay extra on the flight if you wish to listen to the in flight movie.
I took my own food with me on the flight and was rather glad I did so, as the person sitting next to me did not and had to pay for food. The food prices, as far as I can remember, were quite expensive and was not a huge portion (wouldn't fill me up anyways!)

Don't get me wrong though, I would travel with Thomson again, and the service I received was not all that bad, but just tips on what to expect when flying with them.
