Are they really worth using (Trailfinders)

Advantages: The cheap first class Hotels in Singapore

Disadvantages: Worthless Vouchers, Few stores abroad

When I went travelling last year, I booked a round the world trip stopping at eight destinations, with first class hotel stop off at Singapore thrown in the price. It all came to just over £1000 which at the time was very reasonable. The only issue that I had with trail finders was that when I was in the foreign countries for example Australia there are not too many trailfinders stores, so when you need to go to one, you find they are only located in the major cities, and when you are in a place as big as Australia this can prove to be quite a problem, also when it comes to altering your time table on your destinations I was told before I left that all I had to do was go into a Trailfinders store and they would be able to do this for me. Unfortunately as I found out that was not the case, they just advised me to go to the airline that the ticket was with and they would do it. Which was fair enough, but it was at that point I wondered why I bothered to book my ticket through trailfinders at all, I could have gone straight to the airlines and booked the trip myself. Also the main reason that I went along with trailfinders is that I was under the impression that they would be able to manipulate my journey themselves. And to be honest the vouchers that they give you when you book your ticket are worthless. They are discount with the most expensive operators and you will probably be ale to pick up better deals even after you use the vouchers. I feel that if I booked the same ticket again, I would book it through Flight Centre as they came up with the same price and they are at every town I went to even in Bali.
