Advantages: Neccessary to afford a family ski holiday.

Disadvantages: Companies don't provide enough.

How many of you have spent hours attempting to search for a company with a Free Child Place. We are wanting to book a ski holiday for a family of 2 adults and 3 children aged 8,5 and 2 at time of travel next March 2001. Do you think we can get a free child place, No chance. Have tried all the major companies, most are saying 3 children will need 2 rooms in the hotel, that'll be 4 adult prices and 1 child. Cost of taking a family skiing for 1 week £2000. That's without any of the other extras, Why is is you can pick up brochures, guaranteed free kids places, low prices for family holidays. Have tried booking directly only to be told all places were sold anything up to 8 months ago.

Any help as to where we should go for this information is kept a secret to the travel agents.
