TUI

I flew out to Lanzarote with Thomson this year. Staff are always polite and helpful. The meal was very nice and plenty of it. My son (7) ate all his, and he is a fussy eater. But what amazed me was the lack of DVD on the flight. What, 4 and a half hours, no film. What the hell do you do? Well I drank 2 bottles of wine and fell asleep! My son played with the DS, thank goodness I brought it! Never been on a flight without a DVD. The interior of the plane looked old and tatty, and all the signs etc were in German. Thomsons may only be a part of TUI, but I would recommend them to absolutely anyone (and often do). I am probably one of those customers that people working in the industry hate. I came into the branch with my partner with a request to go somewhere in the next while on holiday, spending as little as possible. No ideas for destination (somewhere a bit different), no specific dates (but lots of exclusions) and a bit uncertain about specific budget. Other travel agents just looked down their noses at us, but the staff in Thomsons soon had us figured out. I have to confess - this may be a bit of a biased opinion. I actually work for the world of TUI in a Lunn Poly shop, but I really had the urge to write good things about the company. I left my hectic, well paid job to become a travel agent- and so glad I did. I have never worked for such a nice company. TUI are so customer focused, its almost unreal! They are a HUGE company, Lunn Poly, Magic, Jetsave, Thomson...and many more are all part of the TUI world. Not only does each one offer value and quality, it also offers variety because of the large volume of services it offers.
