Thomsons may only be a part of TUI, but I would recommend them to absolutely anyone (and often do).

I am probably one of those customers that people working in the industry hate. I came into the branch with my partner with a request to go somewhere in the next while on holiday, spending as little as possible. No ideas for destination (somewhere a bit different), no specific dates (but lots of exclusions) and a bit uncertain about specific budget.

Other travel agents just looked down their noses at us, but the staff in Thomsons soon had us figured out. Before we knew it, we had a perfect holiday lined up to Tunisia at an amazingly cheap price in, of all things, a four star hotel. They didn't press extras on us, and even encouraged us to take our own food onto the plane instead of buying theirs.

The destination was not one we would have ever thought of without their help, but was perfect for our needs. The sfatt were curtious, efficient, helpful and above all friendly. They have excellend deals available, not just those in the windows, and are a pleasure to do business with.

Oh, and their reps are excellent too, and couldn't give us enought infomration and advice.

Disadvantages - none that I could see!
