Disadvantages: Made our holiday a mess and cost us a lot of unnecessary expence

Having just been to Disneyworld Florida with Virgin Holidays I have returned feeling let down and angry that this company had such an impact on our 2 week stay.
We saw only 1 rep in 2 weeks at a welcome meeting who sold us an excursion which she assured us would accomodate the 15 month old baby in our party and when we came to the day it clearly did not. This meant 3 of our party were unable to go on a trip thay had paid a lot of money to take. The information about downtown disney check in was inaccurate and when we arrived we queued for 2 hrs (1 of which was waiting for the virgin staff to arrive - an hour late) with 3 hungry kids in the sun and then found our seats etc had already been preallocated so we gained nothing except raised blood pressure for this waste of time. We should have been informed of free car hire and were not so we became stuck on the disney site unless we wanted to pay an arm and a leg for taxis every day. Whilst our transport to the theme parks was included we should have been able to go out of disney in our free hired car had we been informed of this.
There are many more smaller details that I could include but my advice to anyone considering booking with Virgin Holidays is to definitely book elsewhere. I must stress though that Virgin Atlantic flights are not connected to Virgin holidays and were excellent. We have used them many times and will continue to do so ----- just not with Virgin Holidays..
