A good investment for business travellers

My husband and I travel on business, him more often than I, and we find it a real annoyance either carrying a suit hanger or cramming your pressed, dry cleaned suits into a regular suitcase. The Antler Tronic Z500 Trolley Wardrobe therefore is ideal. It's a decent size at 60 x 54 x 23 centimetres and weighing in at a fairly light 5kg with a 61 litre allowance. It's made of a splash proof black stitched nylon, and has a sturdy telescopic trolley with two small but durable plastic wheels. You can also carry it briefcase style. In case you want to hold important documents or electronic items there is some form of security with an inbuilt combination lock. It features four hangers which can be used for full suits, shirts, separates and so on. It also has two zipped document or personal effects holders which is very handy - meaning that this can be the only bag you need take with you for an overnight business stay. The bag is very well made; sturdy, and looks very professional too - now turning up at a meeting, convention or seminar doesn't require a stop off at the hotel first to drop off the unflattering sports holdall - this looks great with a suit, and indistinguishable from a regular laptop holder or briefcase style bag. It wheels well in airports, on tarmac, and rail stations, but obviously it's only meant for this and isn't an all terrain suitcase, but it will last and the handle goes high enough not to cause my husband or I (over six feet tall( any back pain when pulling along. Once you get to your destination your suits and clothes are still perfectly pressed and ready for hanging or immediate wear. No more trying to get a Corby trouser press to get the wrinkles out of a silk shirt or begging reception for an iron at 6am! The bag isn't particularly cheap, at £120 - £150 (I paid £135) however it is specifically designed for purpose, is excellent at what it does and is so well made it is sure to last a long time. I do think it is worth the money and am very glad I purchased it - it simply makes business trips easier to organise (by being able to pack the night before and ensure your clothes won't suffer), looks professional, and in-use, is smooth, not too heavy, and sturdy when running for a train or taxi! Overall I do think the price restricts this to the more serious traveller or frequent business user, however it will serve you well, and I do recommend it. It's not one we take on family holidays, but for business, it's the only one we'd ever take. Four stars out of five for a decent travel wardrobe from Antler.
