“ Brand: Reebok / Type: Hand Luggage / Style: Holdall / Duffle Bag „
I have been doing karate for many years and this originally had a sports bag which I bought from my club to carry about all of my equipment, however this was very cheaply made, had only s single pocket and after two or three year was starting to noticeably wear. This is when I came across this bag in a supermarket on offer. At the time it was only about £15 but I believe its usual price was £20 to £30, so I got it t great value!
In this bag, every week, I now carry two first aid kits, protective sparring equipment, practice weapons, spare clothes, towels, deodorants, drinks, small books and more. All of these things fit comfortably in the large main compartment of this bag when my old bag was starting to struggle with its smaller capacity. Even though this compartment could fit all of these things comfortably with room even to spare, it also features two rather spacious side pockets. These side pockets are very helpful in organisation of the bag, for instance, I like to keep all of my drinks and deodorants in one side pocket and the first aid kits in the other both for easy access. These first aid kits are rather large and I would never have expected to be able to fit them both in a side pocket but the generous size of the pockets in this bag accommodate them perfectly!
The bag, as you can see from the photo, comes in a mix of red, white and blue so if you are feeling patriotic this bag has an extra advantage there too. I am unsure whether or not this bag comes in other colours as the only style I saw in-store was this. I would have expected to see them on-shelf if they were available so it you do not like these colours you may be out of luck there, sorry.
The material of the bag is very strong, I have been using the bag for about 5 years now and see no signs of ageing other than the odd scuff. I have not really treated the bag well either, it gets thrown in and out of the car and dragged across the floor twice a week but has taken this treatment well. It seems to handle rain well as even in torrential downpours, even though I obviously haven't put it outside during these, during my sprints from the house to the car it has not let any noticeable water through - this is most likely due to the material the bag is made from. The material feels like what coats are generally made from for much of the bag (Nylon?), this has the effect of both repelling water but also it does not attract dirt very well which means it doesn't require constant cleaning.
For the times it does require cleaning, maybe twice a year. It has only really been fro the smell in my case due to having sweaty equipment in it for about 264 days a year. I usually hand wash the bag in the sink but I do not see a reason why it wouldn't be machine washable either. When washing I have not seen any colours run or any fading of the design in any way.
I like how easy the bag is to carry too. It has both a dual-carry handle and adjustable shoulder strap. I generally just use the shoulder strap as it is perfectly set to my height and with a throw over my head the bag can be carried without any hands needed at all.
I can really see no reason why, if you do a sport which requires you to carry around additional items, you would not get this bag due to the wide variety of advantages it offers with no disadvantages in my mind. Even if you do not do a sport, having a spacious bag around the house like this can come in extremely handy too - off the top of my head, I could imagine those with babies may benefit from this if they, for example, went on a long journey and wanted to keep all of babies things together.
My partner had brought this bag to use for the gym and it cost him around £20 from Amazon. As rebook are a reputable sporting brand he chose this one as it was simple yet he knew he could rely on the quality to last for a while.
The bag is Size (H)33, (W)62, (D) 30 cm and a medium sized travel holder. It has a red white and blue design which makes the bag bright but practical as it can be a bit of a pain to wash so the main feature of the dark colour blue as the main colour is a great idea. It can be washed down but this can take a while and does not always come up perfect.
The handles can be bounded together with a strap to make it easier and more comfy to hold in your hand as the strap has padding. There is also a larger strap so if you wish to put one strap over your shoulder to carry the bag for a little more support when the bag is heavy. It is easy to carry for both me and my husband so suits all shapes and sizes.
To open and shut the bad there is a double sided zip for extra security that it will not open and this also makes it easier to zip up as once one side is done the other side groups together nicely making the zip simple to pull across. The bag has a main compartment and two side pockets at each end of the bag which is great as it gives a little extra room and the side bags are perfect for holding toiletries and underwear.
The bag itself is roomy enough I managed to fit a few days clothes in for me hubby and 3 children but it was a tight squeeze and all pockets were used up in it.Its perfect for my hubby to use for the gym or to use for over nights stay but anything longer than a few days you would need something larger.
Over all I think it is a great bag it is very well made and enough room for a short stay away anything longer and you will need a bigger holder. We have had this bag for around 18 months and it is still going strong it is used twice a week by my husband and then if we are going to stay with relatives so gets a good amount of use. There are no signs of use apart from the white bits of the bag are now an off colour from wiping it down as it does attract dirt.
Side closing catches with 2 side pockets.
