	World Nomads ... first time I heard of the travel insurance from World Nomads was in Asia when my old insurance was about to run out and I couldn t extend it. Being stuck in the middle of Southeast Asia with a boyfriend who loves to drive motorbikes is not the best situation to loose your cover and we were both incredibly relieved when we filled out our insurance forms. As it happens we had some claims afterwards and they were great about that. It was no problem that we waited with the claims till after our return and the whole process was quick and easy. 	Direct Travel Insurance ... used this Direct Travel Insurance for two years running for my travel insurance needs. They provided the cheapest quote for a reasonable range of services - all the essential medical stuff but slightly lacking a low excess in the package I chose. I uncovered them after reading a newspaper article and insurance comparison websites seemed to confirm the good value. Paperwork and sign-up were quite straightforward. At one point I did have to claim for a camera I had broken on holiday and that was not a problem. I was sent a claim form which I filled out and sent back. 	Tesco Travel Insurance ... and my partner took a recent holiday to Salou in Spain. Tesco Travel Insurance was the cheapest deal so we decided to insure with them. What a mistake that was!! Just before boarding our return flight to the UK our plane was struck by lightening meaning we couldn t fly. Thomas Cook, the airline we had booked out holiday with, were a complete disgrace (I ll save all of that for another review) and we were stranded for 28 hours in Reus airport (one tiny shop and cockroaches everywhere).
