I was going on holiday earlier this year and when I booked my trip, the price I was quoted for insurance seemed expensive to me. So I decided not to take it and to shop around instead. I rang round to some of the places I had seen advertisements for, but there wasn’t much difference to what I had been quoted already, and then someone told me to try my local insurer which I did and was very surprised indeed. It cost £99 for both my partner and myself for a full years travel to Europe and the States as well as two trips per year skiing.
