Boots Travel InsuranceNewest Review: ... claim when i got home and they said they would send out a claim form....they didn't after a week phoned again and they send the system must have been down and eventually 2 weeks after my phone call i had one to fill in.They needed original receipts so all be carefull if like me you don't keep everything.But as the phone was newish did find it . The whole claim took 4 weeks (minus item for this time) They also took exess off £50 PLUS 10% wear and tear...So i only got back a fraction of the £159.00 the phone cost,could not replace with the same phone and had to get a inferior older model.This i feel is unfair had i had claimed through my ho... more |

We have had a worldwide,family,yearly policy with Boots for 3 years and have never had to use it. My son had his pay as you go phone stolen from a locked hotel roon in Amsterdam. I've had a Boots multi-trip policy for a couple of years. It was extremely easy to arrange. In fact I did it all over the phone at Gatwick just before the holiday I was insuring. However, I find it a telling indication of the policies quality that, finally needing to use their emergency number (which is not free) I was placed on hold for 5 minutes by a computer and then cut off. This happened twice before I tried the only other number I had... The Boots sales number. Surprise surprise I was through to an operator in about 5 seconds! Also beware, the £1500 personnal items cover is limited to £400 of valuables and has a £250 single item limit. ... Read the complete review

Boots has a very nicely laid out, clear web site offering the range of products they cover - annual, trip, winter sports and gap year. Each product is clearly presented for the most part - with simple site navigation. I once bought their cover, but it was a good few years back. What is covered? ______________ Boots has to be praised - there are an enormous number of covers with generally good benefit levels. The key covers are all present and at sensible benefit levels (in my opinion).
