No flexibility, not the cheapest, not the best policy (Columbus Direct)

Advantages: cheapish basic cover

Disadvantages: insufficient cover no flexibility in the package

Poor Cover, no flexibilty customer service isnt great!

I needed to upgrade the level of cover on my ski equipment as the amount covered by default wasnt enough I was on the top package but after upgrading my equipment the insurance no longer covered the value of my skis and boots, it wasnt possible to pay a supplement to increase the value that was insured.

Whats the point of having insurance if it doesnt give you cover for the things you are insuring?? cheap insurance is not always the best. In fact you may as well just give the money to charity if you go for cheap insurance, without a good policy, because when you come to claim youll find out you were not covered anyway

also Customer service were not the most helpful, they seemed bolshy, uninterested, nowadays if a company doesnt have good customer service what do they have? anyone can do cheap!!!

Summary: Make sure the policy covers what you need, columbus aren't the cheapest or the best
