Dial Direct Motor Insurance

I recently received a renewal notice for the insurance on my car and paid the quoted amount. The insurance certificate and the paperwork followed soon after in the post. A few weeks later I rang Dial Direct to get a quotation for a second car I had purchased, but the operator couldn't access my account because the orginal policy has been 'suspended' - but nobody had bothered to contact me. The operator took my details and promised to contact me the next day.
