I used this Direct Travel Insurance for two years running for my travel insurance needs. They provided the cheapest quote for a reasonable range of services - all the essential medical stuff but slightly lacking a low excess in the package I chose. I uncovered them after reading a newspaper article and insurance comparison websites seemed to confirm the good value. Paperwork and sign-up were quite straightforward. Do not even think to contact these people by phone or email. Those quotes are much higher than what you find online. Upgrading your policy is a rip off. Also-the discount you get to renew your policy is worse than simply taking out a complete new policy.
So-great company-but avoid email/phone contact!
