Having booked my holiday to Tenerife in due to start next week, I decided to look on the internet for the best travel deal for the week.

I had come across a few sites, and on Screentrade.co.uk, they recommended Direct Travel Insurance, and upon choosing them, I booked my insurance on line.

The cost was £9.50 for 8 days insurance, including delayed baggage, and lost money, but excluding winter sports. The cover is good as well.

I made the booking late on a Thursday night, and my documents were delivered by first class post 2 days later on the Saturday. A very speedy service in my opinion.

I would certainly recommend this to others, however in all cases, it is better to shop round, as other insurers may well provide a better price or service, depending on your type of cover required, or destination.
